Coming up in and around Robeson County
It is Christmas Parade time in Robeson County.!
We are "making waves" to turn Robeson County Blue!!! We must increase our visibility - countywide! This link will connect you to the Mobilize invitation to meet at Kathy Batt's house on Saturday, November 22nd to coordinate volunteers for the Parades and distribute decorations. We need 2 pick-up trucks to cover these parades - so if you have a truck or can volunteer to ride for a few hours... stop by from 10-11 am on the 22nd! (More info on the "Mobilize" volunteer form!" The list of community parades include: Rowland (11/29), Fairmont & Pembroke (12/05), Marietta & St Pauls (12/06) and Maxton & Red Springs (12/12/13). As you can see, we need to create 2 volunteer teams to celebrate the holidays across Robeson County!
In October 2025, 30 of us from Robeson County joined Scotland county Democrats in Laurinburg for the NO KINGS protest!
It was a huge success. Being with a group of people who are willing to publicly voice our concerns about the direction our country was uplifting.
Lots of support from cars passing by, music, and a huge frog...
